Today we are giving my glam room/ hobby room a makeover. My goal for this space was to make this area feel more cozy and inviting. Currently we had a vanity area on one side and the other was pretty bare. I knew I had to check out Wayfair for affordable quality furniture. They had exactly what I needed to transform this room.
Before we get into the makeover, have you heard of Wayfair’s newest line RE\FINE? This line is full of bedding, towels, mirrors and kitchen items. I put together a template with some of my favorite pieces from this collection. You all know I’m loving a pop of blue so my favorite is the bedding! You can shop the entire collection here
Now onto the makeover, the first piece of furniture I purchased was a low standing bookcase. I love the neutral wood tone and the curved edges. I plan on using this space to house any crafting and hobby materials as well as a few small lamps for mood lighting.
My husband, Rob, was such a big help building everything! Next, he hung these gold shelves onto the adjacent wall. I’m still not 100% sure what I want to place on these shelves just yet. I was thinking a few records or magazines.
We decided to also purchase the tall version of the same bookcase to place on top, this really gave a more dramatic look which I love! I think this looks so high-end and modern. I added a few decor pieces for a pop of color and love it.
I absolutely love how this room turned out! Not only is it my galmroom where I can come and get ready in the mornings but now I have a place to do hobbies and get creative. Thank you again to Wayfair for always having the best home decor, furniture and much more!
